WAX MELTS Wax melts are becoming increasingly popular and they work out to be much more cost-effective than buying candles. Just 1 block from our Sister Scent wax melt bars cost 70p typically lasting you 8-12hours! That's 40-60 hours of fragrance per bar for just £3.50. Do not overfill your burner. 1 piece is more than enough. We recommend using 4 hour tea lights rather than 12 hours, any more could cause your burner to overheat and crack. Change your wax melt when you can no longer smell the fragrance, this is usually after 8-12 hours. Unlike a candle, the wax in a wax melt doesn't disappear as you use it. Instead, the wax will lose its scent eventually. To change your wax melt and replace it with a fresh new wax melt; light the tea light beneath the wax and wait up to 30 seconds for the wax to slightly melt on the bottom just enough for you to be able to slide the wax out. Wipe up any excess wax with a cotton pad carefully and you are ready to add a new Sister Scent fragrance. Electric burners can be great as they are a flame-free option. Some wax melt users with young children, for example, favour electric burner as they're viewed as a safer alternative. Never leave unattended. Never move when lit. Always burn on heatproof surface. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN, PETS & DRAUGHTS. DO NOT EAT. DRIED FLOWERS If you want to keep your dried flowers looking lovely for a long time, just follow our tips below: Dusting often - Use a feather duster, hair dryer on a cool heat or a soft cloth to gently dust your flowers without damaging them. Doing this regularly will keep them looking their best. Avoid any contact with liquids - Water and humidity can discolour the dried flowers turning them brown and mouldy which is not ideal! We suggest to place them in a dry room such as a living room or bedroom/dressing room, not a bathroom. Find the right home - Direct sunlight can effect the colour of your flowers and cause them to go very brittle and snap. Keep them away from direct flames such as stoves, heaters and fireplaces. They will last longer in a fairly cold and dry room.

Well, here we are! Introducing ourselves to our very own customers ( We never ever thought we'd say that). We have thought about making our own business for years but never saved enough money to do so or was too busy to have our own business as well as working full time. Our names are Kyla, Sophie and Jessica from Penmaenmawr, North Wales who is so excited for our new venture! It all began in the height of the pandemic when all three of us were stuck at home and not able to go to work. Kyla is a primary teacher and the eldest sister, Sophie is studying at University and Jessica is studying in College and is the youngest sister. We have always wanted a business of our own, a hobby that we could turn into a business but never knew what path was right for us (We have very different hobby's and could never find one that we all enjoyed). One thing for sure is that the three of us are OBSESSED with wax melts, candles and designer fragrances and all you ever see on social media at the moment is the Wax industry booming! Jessica was searching high and low for a job during the pandemic but it became impossible to find anything due to the number of people who have been made redundant. Everything changed during the pandemic and one day we just started trying out wax moulding and experimenting with different fragrances in our spare time. It became a hobby of ours and we decided that this may be the right path for us. After learning the basics, we decided to buy a load more product and test the waters with friends and family. We couldn't believe the feedback we received!! It gave us the confidence to go for it and start up a business, so here we are!! The thought scares us a little of selling something that we have made ourselves, but we hope that you all love everything that we make as much as we do. We have so much planned for you all and we can't wait to see what 2021 brings for us (hopefully not COVID)! Lots of love, Sister Scents x
